Privacy Policy

How Horizon Rush handles information — in plain language.

Last updated: 22 August 2026 · Applies to Horizon Rush on iOS, Android and web

Who we are

Horizon Rush ("the Game") is developed and published by M4 Infotech ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the Game and this website handle, why, and what control you have over it.

It applies to the Horizon Rush mobile applications for iOS and Android, the web build of the Game, and this website at horizonrush.m4infotech.com.

The short version

Horizon Rush has no accounts and no logins. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or date of birth to play. Your race progress lives on your own device.

The Game becomes more connected only if you choose it: signing in to Game Center or Play Games enables leaderboards and cloud backup. Analytics and advertising are described in full below.

Information we collect

We do not collect information that directly identifies you. The categories below are the complete set the Game and this site can process.

CategoryExamplesWhy
Game progressCoins, cars unlocked, upgrade levels, stage stars, best lap times, daily streakTo save your game. Stored on your device; synced only if you enable cloud save.
Platform gaming IDYour Game Center or Play Games player identifier and display nameOnly if you sign in — to show you on leaderboards.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data. The Game requests no such permissions.

Data stored on your device

Your save file is written to your device's local storage under the key horizon-rush-save-v1. It holds your coins, unlocked cars, upgrades, stage stars, best lap times and daily-streak state. It contains no personal information.

Deleting the app (or clearing site data, for the web build) erases this file permanently. If you have not enabled cloud save, that progress cannot be recovered by us or by you.

Game Center, Play Games and cloud save

Leaderboards and cloud backup are optional and off until you sign in.

  • If you sign in, your scores for career coins, races won, career stars and best lap are submitted to Apple Game Center or Google Play Games under your platform display name, and your save may be backed up to your platform account.
  • If you do not sign in, none of this happens and the Game remains fully playable.

These services are operated by Apple and Google under their own privacy policies, and your leaderboard visibility is governed by your account settings with them, not by us.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand aggregate usage — how many people start a race, where players stop progressing, which builds crash. This is measurement, not profiling: we do not use it to identify you or to target advertising.

Analytics can be limited or disabled through your device settings, including "Limit Ad Tracking" / "Opt out of Ads Personalisation", and on iOS by declining the App Tracking Transparency prompt.

Advertising

Horizon Rush may show two kinds of advertising: a short ad between races, and an optional rewarded video you can choose to watch for bonus coins. Rewarded ads are never forced, and declining one costs you nothing but the bonus.

Where ads are served, our advertising partners may process your advertising identifier and IP address to select and measure ads. Depending on build and region, these partners may include Google AdMob, Unity Ads and Liftoff. In the browser version distributed through gaming portals, the portal's own advertising SDK applies.

On iOS, personalised advertising requires your permission through App Tracking Transparency; if you decline, ads may still appear but will not be personalised. On Android you can reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time in system settings.

Children's privacy

Horizon Rush is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Where a store age rating or account signals that a player is a child, we instruct our advertising partners to serve only non-personalised, age-appropriate ads. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process data on these bases:

  • Legitimate interests — running and securing the Game, understanding aggregate usage, and preventing abuse.
  • Consent — analytics and personalised advertising where consent is required, given through the in-app consent prompt or your platform's tracking permission. You may withdraw it at any time in your device settings.
  • Performance of a contract — providing features you actively request, such as leaderboards and cloud save.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising beyond the advertising partners named above. We share data only with:

  • Apple and Google — app distribution, Game Center / Play Games, cloud save.
  • Google Firebase — analytics and hosting for this website.
  • Advertising partners — as described under Advertising, where ads are shown.
  • Authorities — only where we are legally required to.

How long we keep data

Progress stays on your device until you delete the Game. Cloud saves persist in your Apple or Google account until you remove them there. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form according to Firebase's configured retention window. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request and to keep a record of it.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Californian residents additionally have rights to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell personal information.

Practical controls available to everyone, without contacting us:

  • Erase all progress — delete the app, or clear site data for the web build.
  • Leave leaderboards — sign out of Game Center or Play Games, or hide your profile in those services.
  • Limit ads and analytics — use your device's advertising and tracking settings.

To exercise a formal request, email support@m4infotech.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". Because the Game holds no account, please tell us your platform and approximate first-play date so we can locate any related records. We respond within 30 days.

Security

This website is served over HTTPS. Data in transit to platform and analytics services is encrypted by those providers. No system is perfectly secure, but because the Game stores no credentials, payment details or contact information, the impact of any compromise is deliberately limited.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, these transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Game evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced in the Game or on this site before they take effect.
